Greta Salóme's reaction as she hears she has won the ticket to Eurovision 2016.

The final version of Iceland’s entry in the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest is now ready and available to listen to on YouTube.

The song is called Hear Them Calling and was selected from a final field of six songs in a glittering event held in Reykjavik on 20 February .

Iceland will be performing in the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest on 10 May, in a bid to secure one of the ten qualifying places on offer for the final.

Last year’s Icelandic entry – Unbroken by María Ólafsdóttir – failed to take Iceland through to the final , but both fans and bookmakers are optimist about the chances of Greta Salóme, performer of the 2016 song.
