Second man arrested in drug cop case
A second man has reportedly been arrested in connection with the case of a Reykjavik policeman arrested over the holiday period.
According to national broadcaster RÚV, the man arrested yesterday is around forty years of age and has been convicted of drug offences.
The police officer, working in the Narcotics Division of the Reykjavik Metropolitan Police, was arrested between Christmas and New Year on suspicion of alleged “inappropriate dealings with criminals”.
