Plead for aid for children without families

Barnaheill, Save the Children in Iceland released a statement today to all Ministers of the new committee for matters concerning refugees and immigrants. The statement requested more Government funds towards charities that help refugees once they are in Iceland, especially families with children. They also plead for special consideration and action towards children that are without parents and that priority be placed on reuniting families. Save the Children also request that the Government take heed of enormous public pressure and make a plan of action to support refugees and to prioritise the matter.
