Car crash victim Italian

Latest reports from South Iceland Police indicate that the victim of yesterday’s car crash near Pétursey in South Iceland was an Italian woman in her sixties.

The cause of the crash is still unknown but there are no indications that the driver was speeding. The driver was seriously injured and is currently unconscious on a ventilator.

All four passengers involved in the accident (including the deceased) were Italian.
