Will H&M finally open in Iceland?
Real estate company Reginn has bought part of the building site next to Harpa Concert Hall, intended for a shopping mall. CEO of Reginn, Helgi S.Gunnarsson has high hopes for this particular spot and he says that his consultants are prospecting for major international retail chains, including Swedish multinational retail-clothing company H&M.
The building plots known as Hörpureitur 1 and 2 will house apartment buildings, offices and shops. Reginn owns 8,000 square metres on the first and second floors of the buildings to be raised between Geirsgata and Tryggvagata in the centre of Reykjavik.
