The best weather for this long holiday weekend is forecast to be on Sunday and Monday, with northern parts of the country finally breaking into double figures on the thermometer.

Maximum temperatures today are expected to reach 5-10°C in the north (cloudy with a chance of drizzle) and 12-15°C in the south (light cloud).

Tomorrow is expected to be the worst day of the weekend. Rain will affect north-eastern and north-western parts of the countries and temperatures will fall.

Things should begin to improve on Sunday and bank-holiday Monday.

On Sunday, sunny conditions should prevail and all parts of the country will be enjoying temperatures of 10-15°C, maybe higher. These pleasant conditions should continue into Monday.
