Weather warning: Strong wind under Eyjafjöll mountains tonight

The Iceland Met Office warns of strong gusts of wind taking place beneath the Eyjafjöll mountains in South Iceland tonight. People driving large vehicles, camper vans or with trailers are warned to take great care or refrain from travelling in the area. 

The weather remains good in North and North East Iceland with temperatures going over 20 degrees on Celsius. Winds are picking up in South Iceland today with the strongest wind by the Eyjafjöll mountains.
