The sun is shining on most of Iceland today. Yesterday the highest temperatuers were measured at 22.8°C in Ásbyrgi and 22.7°C in Ásbyrgi, both in North Iceland. In Skagafjörður the temperatures were in many places just over 20°C and at around 8 - 12 °C in the East Fjords.
According to the Iceland Met Office the weather should be good today and tomorrow and into the weekend but it will start cooling down again on Monday, and from Tuesday until Thursday next week the temperatures will be considerably cooler.
In Reykjavik today the maximum temperature will probably be around 16 °C and temperatures of over 20 °C have again been measured in several places around the country.
The next three days or so should therefore be perfect for travel and outdoor activities in Iceland.
