This unlucky driver lost control of his car on the icy road.

Roads are slippery in Reykjavik, on roads surrounding the capital, in North Iceland and the West Fjords. Traffic has been going slow in the capital today.

There have been a lot of accidents in Reykjavik this morning due to slippery roads, according to Reykjavik Metropolitan Police. Drivers are asked to be careful and patient.

There have not only been accidents on the roads. Accidents have been reported where people have slipped on the ice, fallen down and injured themselves.

The best conditions in Iceland are ironically in East Iceland, which was affected by a raging storm only yesterday, with roads either clear or partly covered in ice. Mountain roads are all slippery in the rest of the country and most of the roads on the lowlands are partly covered with ice.
