Summer weather over the next few days in Iceland
Iceland has a fine weekend of weather in store according to the latest forecasts.
An area of high pressure is currently moving in, bringing with it calm and sunny weather, says Head of the Icelandic Met Office Theodór Freyr Hervarsson.
While some coastal areas may see patches of fog, the next 2-3 days are expected to be sunny and warm in most parts. Temperatures will exceed 20°C (68°F) in places, before dropping slightly again by Sunday.
