Gray Line Airport Express will be commencing a direct service between Akureyri and Keflavik International Airport on April 17th which means tourists travelling to Iceland could begin their trip by journeying to the beautiful north.

In May and April scheduled trips will be twice per week, increasing to daily trips in June, July and August. The bus will stop on the journey north in Borgarnes, Staðarskáli, Blönduós and Varmahlíð.

The Gray Line Airport Express Service is scheduled to enable passengers arriving in Iceland in the afternoon to get to Akureyri by midnight and for passengers coming from North Iceland to be able to catch a morning flight from Keflavik International Airport.

The buses are actually luxury coaches that offer toilets, food and drink service and a WiFi service.
