Tourists at Gullfoss waterfall: "You want to get closer, it's normal, it's human"

The lower footpath by the Gullfoss waterfall is closed during the wintertime.  The spray of water from the falls causes dangerously slippery ice which could lead to grave accidents. 

The closed footpath can obviously be quite disappointing for tourists who have flown half way across the world to see this natural wonder up close.  Many of the tourists are here specifically to photograph the waterfall and want to get closer for better shots.
