Iceland ‘emerging destination’ for 2016

Iceland features in a new list put together by news website CNN of places to visit in 2016.
The Arctic region, including Iceland, Greenland and Norway, is billed as one of the world’s “Top 16 up-and-coming destinations”, with May-September recommended as the best time for travel.
“Iceland, Greenland and Norwegian Svalbard offer plenty of sensory stimulants, starting with the aurora borealis,” writes CNN’s Anisha Shah. Those considering a trip to Iceland are advised to check out the Into the Glacier ice tunnel caves in the Langjökull glacier.
Other countries on the list of sixteen go-to destinations include Georgia, Taiwan and Uganda.
