Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air has announced a new service to Iceland from Warsaw, Poland, starting next summer.

The Warsaw route will be Wizz Air’s second service between Iceland and Poland, as the airline began flying to Keflavík International Airport (KEF) from Gdansk in June this year.

The new Warsaw route will begin on 16 May 2016 and will be a twice-weekly service: on Mondays and Thursdays.

One-way prices start at €69.99 (approx. ISK 10,000; PLN 295), with extra charges for hold luggage.

Icelandic airlines Icelandair and WOW air already fly to the Polish capital.
