Any plane-spotters at Keflavik International Airport (KEF) this Saturday would have been treated to the sight of a passenger jet taking off or landing every eleven minutes.
There were a total of 133 departures and arrivals in the course of the day, i.e. on average, nearly six an hour.
The arrivals hall at KEF was abuzz as passengers streamed out to a crowd of waiting taxis and coaches.
