Jamie Oliver opens restaurant in Reykjavik
Jamie Oliver is one of the most famous chefs in the world.
The famous Jamie's Italian chain of restaurant owned by British star chef Jamie Oliver will be opening at Hótel Borg in April/May 2017 in Reykjavik.
The management will be in the hands of Finnur Karlsson and Jón Haukur Baldvinsson. Jamie's Italian have 42 branches worldwide and are rapidly growing. Each restaurant has its own style and the one in Reykjavik will pay homage to the art deco style of historic Hotel Borg.

"Reykjavik is a beautiful city with a great cultural heritage and food culture with a real passion for unique Icelandic ingredients, all factors that fit us perfectly. We have received the unique opportunity to open at the respected Hotel Borg which is a great honour. When we open our doors we will serve simple Italian food for the whole family made from the best ingredients that we can get our hands on."
