Iceland's largest annual music festival, Iceland Airwaves began last night in the Reykjavik city centre and continues until November 5th.
This year is also the first year that the festival also takes place in the northern city of Akureyri where it starts tomorrow night.
Last night, hip-hop took centre stage at the Reykjavik Art Museum featuring artists such as Alvia Islandia, Cyber and newcomers JóiPé og Króli.
For those without an Airwaves bracelet, there are plenty of off-venue concerts all around Reykjavik that are free of charge.
Iceland Monitor's photographer Eggert Jóhannsson attended the festival yesterday to capture the images.
