Japanese psych rockers Kikagaku Moyo will be playing an exclusive concert at Kex Hostel in downtown Reykjavik on Monday night. They will be supported by Icelandic band Gunnar Jónsson Collider. 

Kikagaku Moyo ( which translates to "geometric patterns")  were founded a few years ago in Tokyo, Japan by five street musicians who had one thing in common, a love for seventies psychedelia and krautrock. Their new album has received great acclaim and on it one can detect influences from bands such as CAN, The Silver Apples and Clinic. 

Kikagaku Moyo arrive in Iceland fresh from Liverpool International Festival of Psychedelia. 

Gunnar Jónsson Collider is a project fronted by Icelander Gunnar Jónsson. He has previously worked with artists such as Damo Suzuki from Can, Ben Frost and BoB to name a few. 

The concert starts at 9 pm and admission is free.
