The international Melodica Festival will be taking place in Reykjavik on 26-28 August, and organisers have set up a crowd-funding site to help cover the cost of a bigger international line up.

Melodica Festival will take place at Kex Hostel on the Friday and Saturday, and then move to Café Rosenberg for a chilled-out Sunday set. Melodica boasts a large line-up of songwriters from all over the world and the local music scene.

From the very outset, the festival has been funded by donations to help cover the travel costs of the international artists.
