Designer Hildur Yeoman who has received great accolade for her clothes and accessory label is setting up an exciting exhibition on June 3rd which combines fashion, art and music.

"There is a place on the boundaries between consciousness and unconsciousness –between waking and sleeping. This place is home to hallucinations and nightmares, but also the dwelling place of sweet dreams and tranquility. It is a fascinating place with a tendency to lure us in and become a desirable place to stay."

Transcendence works with the boundaries between dreaming and sleeping, embarking on a journey into an otherworld which is both familiar and alien to man.

Fashion designer Hildur Yeoman has never been afraid to explore new methods in her design work. She seeks inspiration from powerful experiences where perception, symbols, characteristics, music, visual arts and atmosphere play important roles and are interwoven to create new worlds.

Transcendence is an installation where Yeoman brings together design, photography and visual arts. The visitor is asked to enter a mysterious world where different art forms converge.

The opening on June 3 takes place at Lækningaminjasafn Íslands in Seltjarnarnes, Reykjavik, and will feature music by Jófríður Ákadóttir of Samaris fame.
