Two pearls of the Icelandic music scene – singer-songwriter Emilíana Torrini and the Iceland Symphony Orchestra – are joining forces for two special concerts this week.

Torrini will be singing many of her most famous songs to the unplugged sounds of the Iceland Symphony Orchestra at the Harpa Concert Hall and Conference Centre tomorrow night and Friday night.

She has long been known internationally for her singing and song-writing and has worked with world-renowned artists such as Kylie Minogue, Moby, and Sting.

The orchestra will be conducted by British conductor Hugh Brunt of the London Contemporary Orchestra.
