Iceland's "The Mountain" eats 14 eggs per day
Icelander Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, best known as "The Mountain" in the Game of Thrones series is again competing for the title of the world's strongest man this summer. Here's what he needs to eat every day to prepare for the contest.
"People have been asking me about my diet and what I eat. Here's my diet plan for my preparation for World's Strongest Man 2016. Yes this is a lot and I don't recommend that you try this," he writes on an Instagram post.
Júlíusson eats four kilos of food every day. For a typical breakfast he eats eight eggs, 200 grammes of oats and fruit. After breakfast he has a snack which consits of 400 grammes of beef, sweet potatoes and spinach. Lunch, for example is 400 grammes of chicken, 400 grammes of potatoes, vegetables and fruit.
He also gets up in the middle of the night to eat protein and eggs. See the full menu HERE.
