An Icelandic advert has made it onto the shortlist for the 2015 Epica communication prize to be awarded in Berlin next week.

The advert, made by Íslenska advertising agency for national carrier Icelandair, was one of some 4,000 nominations from 75 countries, and has made the shortlist of just over 600.

A jury of 54 editors and journalists from 44 countries will decide upon the overall winners and runners-up next week.

The Icelandair advert, named ‘Chez Louis’, is the lovable story of a weary couple of young parents rekindling their romance in the city where they were engaged, Stockholm, and is available to view below.

According to the Epica website, “Epica is the only creative prize awarded by journalists working for marketing and communications magazines around the world. It offers an independent jury and global press coverage. Launched as the first European advertising competition, today it is an international celebration of creativity, attracting thousands of entries from more than 70 countries.”
