The latest music video from US rapper Zebra Katz has made Dazed and Confused's Music Videos of the Month. The video was directed by Icelandic production company Refur Creative and shot entirely on location in Iceland.

Refur is comprised of directors Hörður Sveinsson and Helgi Jóhannson and producer Atli Viðar Þorsteinsson and they are now heading for Oslo to be present at the Nordic video awards where they are nominated for two videos.

Ojay Morgan has been a regular visitor to Iceland and has played Iceland Airwaves and several other smaller concerts. At the You are in Control conference in October in Reykjavik he spoke about crossing art genres.

"We met Zebra Katz when he was in Iceland last summer through mutual friends who had heard that he wanted to shoot a video here," explains Hörður Sveinsson. "He then handed us a song so we started making a concept. "

The video as described by Dazed and Confused is  "Old desktop monitors, pyro fire shooters and sledgehammers collide in this satanic music video from Zebra Katz and producer Leila."

"Tell these bitches not to fuck with me, I’m so hot I’ll give them third degree,”snarls Katz over distorted sirens and dark, dirty beats as he launches fire onto a desert landscape straight outta The Holy Mountain."

"We always wanted to make a video with explosions and a lot of attitude," explains Sveinsson laughing. "So we went all the way. Shooting the video took two days, one of them in the Reykjanes peninsula and one in a studio. Our talented videographer was Hrafn Garðarsson, stylist was designer Ýr Þrastardóttir,  Flóra Buenano did the make-up and we got models Svala, Kolfinna and Dýrfinna to participate. A team of excellent people. " Sveinsson adds that Ojay Morgan was great to work with. " It was a real pleasure working with Zebra. He's full of energy and he put everything into the filming."
