Soup bus for the Reykjavik homeless?

"My thoughts are with the people with no shelter," says Ingvi Skjaldarson at the Salvation Army. Since the Salvation Army moved out of their location in Kirkjustræti, central Reykjavik, they've been unable to mantain their soup kitchen for the homeless.

To meet the need of these people, the Salvation Army is instead trying to set up a soup bus.

"We currently have a soup kitchen in another location in Mjódd (Breiðholt) where we've been running a family and intercultural centre. But the homeless don't really go there. They stay in the city centre.
