H&M to open in Iceland
Swedish retail-clothing giant – and favourite ‘destination’ for Icelandic tourists when abroad – H&M is reportedly in talks to open two outlets here in Iceland.
According to Icelandic news website DV (link in Icelandic), talks between Icelandic estate agents Reginn and H&M began last week.
One of the two stores will reportedly be located in the Smáraling shopping centre in the Greater Reykjavik municipality of Kópavogur, and the other in the new Hafnartorg shopping complex to open in Reykjavik in 2018.
